The main task of the Department is to provide extracorporeal treatment of patients with cardiological pathology and provide highly qualified specialized medical care to patients with nephrological profiles, including those who need life support equipment.

Within the framework of the Department, cardiac surgery is provided to patients with chronic kidney disease who need hemodialysis treatment.

The Division provides 24-hour dialysis services:

– hemodialysis (HD)

– hemodiafiltration (HDF)

– isolated ultrafiltration

– extended renal replacement therapy (CRRT)

– slow continuous ultrafiltration (SCUF)

– Continuous veno-venous hemodialysis (CVVHD)

– Continuous veno-venous hemodiafiltration in pre-and/or post-dilution mode (CVVHDF PRE/POST)

– cascade plasma filtration

– hemoperfusion (HP)

– hemosorption

On-site hemodialysis is possible without the need for patient transportation. The Department has 3 dialysis rooms with 5 beds, equipped with modern equipment produced by Fresenius and Baxter, which allows for individual selection of hemodialysis and hemodiafiltration programs.
